The first step was to drill holes in the bottom of the file
box. To get the holes in the right location, I simply "Match
Drilled" through the existing holes in the motherboard once I had it placed
in a suitable orientation on the bottom. I dug through my hardware box
until I found four equal length spacer ferrules, and four long #6-32 stainless
steel countersunk head machine screws and associated nuts. I would have
liked to install six ferrules, but alas, I only had four. After drilling
the holes in the correct location, I chucked 100-degree countersink into my
drill and used it to recess the holes on the bottom, so the screw heads would
not stick out.
